Recently, at the Shandong Provincial Rubber Tire Industry Service-oriented Manufacturing Innovation and Development Conference, Jinyu Tire actively responded to the national call for low-carbon development and took the initiative to participate in the pilot program for product carbon footprint labeling certification. The company formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement on carbon footprint certification with the China Quality Certification Center (CQC). The two parties will conduct in-depth collaboration in carbon footprint accounting, data monitoring, labeling certification, capacity building and other fields, helping the enterprise accelerate into a new stage of green and low-carbon development.

For a long time, Jinyu Tire has unswervingly implemented the green development strategy and established a full-chain carbon footprint management system covering R&D, manufacturing, energy and certification. On the production side, Jinyu Tire's Dawang Plant took the lead in passing the ISO 50001 energy management system certification in 2013 and was awarded the title of National Green Factory in 2023. Meanwhile, it has built photovoltaic and energy storage systems and actively deployed green energy. On the energy efficiency side, the Dawang Plant was selected into the list of National Energy Efficiency Leaders in Key Energy-Consuming Industries in 2022, with manufacturing energy efficiency leading the industry. On the R&D side, the Eco-Technology Package for all-steel tires has been upgraded in all dimensions including profile, pattern, structure, formula and process, achieving dual breakthroughs in high wear resistance and low rolling resistance. This has greatly extended the service life of all-steel tires and reduced driving energy consumption and carbon emissions. Relying on core R&D and innovation, Jinyu Tire has consolidated the green foundation of its all-steel products, strongly supporting its low-carbon transformation.
